Our Women’s-Only Firearms Training is designed specifically for women who want a comfortable, supportive, and professional environment to learn firearm safety, shooting fundamentals, and defensive skills. All classes are taught by experienced female instructors who understand the unique concerns women often have when it comes to firearms, self-defense, and concealed carry.

Whether you’re brand new to shooting or looking to advance your skills, our women’s gun training programs focus on building confidence, proper technique, and real-world readiness—at a pace that works for you. We prioritize safety, education, and empowerment, creating a judgment-free space where questions are encouraged and progress is personal.

Capitol Range & Firearms is also proud to be the home of the North Carolina Capitol Chapter of Armed Women of America. This women’s-only organization provides ongoing training, mentorship, and a strong community of like-minded women who support each other well beyond the classroom.
