Red Dot Handgun Training is a beginner-level course designed for shooters who want to confidently transition to pistol-mounted red dot sights (RDS). This four-hour, instructor-led course is split evenly between classroom instruction and live-fire range training. In the classroom, you’ll learn how red dot optics work, explore different types and features, compare the advantages of red dots versus iron sights, and review proper care and maintenance. On the range, instructors guide you through zeroing procedures, red-dot-specific marksmanship fundamentals, and drills designed to develop consistent, efficient dot acquisition.
